In order to keep your car safe on the road, we carry out a series of checks on your vehicle. We look at your tyres to see their pressure levels and overall health. If there are large gashes or dangerous wear levels, we suggest you get them replaced with some winter ones on at this time of year. This is important as a lot of accidents are made worse by poor quality or worn tyres. We currently have a large amount of winter tyres in stock to fit a range of vehicles, you can book tyre fitting or find out more about these by calling our team of tyre fitters.
Brakes are assessed to ensure they are fulfilling their job the best they can, we double check these as they play a massive part in keeping you and others from crashing. As well as this, we check the exhaust and battery. To check your car isn’t pumping out dangerous fumes, we check the exhaust. The car battery is checked too to ensure it is in good health, they tend to perform worse in winter months as they get colder.
Your windscreen wipers will be checked too to ensure they are in working order, as well as antifreeze and your lights. These three checks are important for aiding your sight when driving in different conditions. When the unpredictable British weather hits, you should only be focusing on getting home safely and not worrying about whether your car will get you there.
